Tax Bills and Homestead Exemption

Tax Bills are out!

As of November 1st, property tax bills were available and are due in full by the end of March, 2020.

Take advantage of paying early:

You receive a 4% discount for paying your tax bill in November, 3% in December, 2% in January, and 1% in February.

Did you know…

Failure to receive your tax bill does not relieve you of your obligation to pay your taxes. I know – bummer! If you did not receive your 2019 Property Tax Bill, I would be happy to assist you in tracking that down. If you have a mortgage, your tax bill may be paid by your lender if you have an escrow account set up.

If you bought your home in 2019

Be sure you file for Homestead Exemption by March 1, 2020 in order to qualify for the exemption in 2020. More information can be found here: https://floridarevenue.com/property/pages/Taxpayers_Exemptions.aspx
